The Whitewater Watershed Lego Model is calling Cascade Meadow home for a few months. The scaled model measures approximately 5’ by 6’ and contains over 26,000 Lego bricks, many of which were donated to the project. The model shows the topography of the region and is color-coded for land use.  Over forty volunteers helped with the construction of the model. Click this link to see our Facebook Photo Album with pictures of the build.

We welcome you to visit to see the model and learn about our local watersheds. We also have activity kits for teachers to use with their students to get them thinking about sustainable landscapes (residential and agricultural).  There are local volunteers ready to lead programming with the model.  So there is the possibility of scheduling some programs at Cascade Meadow that would incorporate the model and watershed conservation topics.
